The famous musician of Ghanaian musical industry, Emmanuel Andrews Samini has disclosed that dance-hall king, Shatta Wale has not concealed him.
From 2013 till now, ask any music lover their beloved dance-hall artist, and you would hear the name dance-hall commando, Shatta Wale over and over again. It’s an irrefutable fact that Shatta Wale has taken over to the supreme.
MOBO award-winning artist, Samini in an interview was asked whether his associated dance-hall act, Shatta Wale has obscured him because currently it’s just Shatta Wale’s brand and not the other way round.
According to the ‘Opanaraay’ hit-maker, the first team player is still the first team player and that the 2nd team player can step into the shoes of the first team player because they are not the equal.
‘No, Bandana has not concealed me, I can’t agree, it is like ‘Leicester City’ saying they are bigger than Manchester United just because they won the debut league.’
He continued that, ‘I even was the first clerics to put Bandana on my tour in 2004 and I have not seen or overheard about him from that time till 2013, akyesaa.’
Samini’s annual music centenary, ‘SaminiFest’ will come off in December and it is the 3rd edition.
