It is often said that Ghana shortages the accurate bodies and labels go grow talent. Though, few record labels have re-written the story; developing talent and spoiling in the rightful misuse of these talents.
Recently, I came across a group of persons who told me that their aim is to front Ghanaian artistes that would be able to act on the world stage. This is a oath that many have made in the past, but talking to Remy J Classics and his partner, Maurice Enyo Awuku they existing themselves as equipped and determined.
ProMusic is a record label both men initiated as a USA-Ghana partnership and have since quietly built the structures that would make them challenging. Speaking to the media, he explained that he’s succeeded a few Ghanaian musicians in the past and his partnership with his USA colleague was born out of the requirement to see Ghanaian music grow well.
ProMusic is set to presentation in Ghana soon and are looking to sign some artistes on lucrative deals. The label bosses identified that they’ve spent the past months founding connections and relationships within the American media and music acts and they are as a final point ready to sign artistes.
“We’ve marked some artistes that are challenging the levels of inspiration and it’s our vision to sign a few of them”, Maurice Enyo Awuku stated that ” Medikal, Worlasi, Gemini, Baza, Ayat, Blackboi, Spicer, Akan and a few more have been cleared by our board as probable signees and in the next few weeks, we hope to contact a deal to them”, he affirmed.
