The legendary high-life musician of Ghana, Nana Quame stated such bitter words that artistes are dying like dogs in Ghana.

Although, such words are bitter but true. He clarified due to British passport he has guaranteed him good medical care in London but such facility is not available for Ghanaian musicians.

‘I hold a British passport which promises me good medical care in London but artists are dying like dogs here in Ghana.’

He sustained that he was supposed to be one of the richest singer in country but the organizations are poor in Ghana. He added that some artists can’t even manage to pay for three square meals a day.

However, he demanded the shutdown of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) and the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA). He stated that such organization have done slight to support singers.

‘I do not know how things are going to modification with respects to the art industry, to me, MUSIGA should be privatized, and things will work well if we do.’

The superstar of his own time, stated that the only person who is actually concerned about musicians in Ghana and who aren’t stars is the boss of EIB Network, Bola Ray.
