The well-known actress of Ghana, Matilda Asare accused the first gentleman of state, John Dramani Mahama of spending the tax money on celebrities.
She clarified that money must should be spend at right place to improve the structure so in this way it will help ordinary Ghanaians to develop their lifestyle.
‘I learnt President is saying if you are a celebrity and you are on a sick bed his government will fund you , what of those who are not stars , who is going to recompense their health bills?’
The actress believed in change and endorsed the opposition party, NPP. In her latest interview, she disclosed that the President and his party, NDC has lost political track and for that matter they doesn’t even deserve another term of office.
She told the journalist, Odeefour Kwasi Kay that national structure collapsed due to bad governance and said nation is suffering such bad economic condition on basses these of reasons nation really deserve the change because Ghanaians cannot afford four more years of President John Mahama.
She said if she is actress and her lifestyle is satisfactory it didn’t mean that every ordinary person is spending life is same style.
‘If I Matilda is okay in life it doesn’t mean that everyone is okay, so proper policies must be realized to create opportunity for the ordinary Ghanaian.’
