Stonebwoy, the winner at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in the Artiste of the Year category said, “Disability is not a failure and should not be in your way to stop yourself from achieving your dream.”
Born Livingstone Etse Satekla, I feel pity of how normal people attitude towards disables in our country.
The “Baafira” hit maker added, “In our beloved country Ghana, there are no rights for the person with disability.”
Although I am also physically challenged with his leg, but this situation has not led me stop from achieving my dreams in life.
He was telling his personal views during an interview with the Peace FM’s Akwasi Aboagye on Peace Entertainment over the weekend at the 2015 VGMA.
Since I got accident at the Tema Motorway, my leg had never been perfect. But I said to myself, I have to work hard and make possible to achieve all my dreams, said Stonebwoy.
The Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the year at the 2015 VGMA said, “A little patience, some extra hard work earns you everything’s and help you achieve your goals.”
He won the Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) Artiste of the Year 2015, after facing some tough competition from other musicians in Ghana including Sarkodie, Daddy Lumba, Edem and E.L.
