The brilliant stand-up comedian of Ghana, Ali Baba unveiled that they earn more money through comedy comparing to silver screen artists earn profit through their films.
Earlier, such rumors hit Ghanaian media that comedians are highly reflecting their interest in making film under Nigerian brand just to earn more profit money through it.
The King of comedy who also established himself as businessmen in his recent interview disclosed that the money is not the initiative for comedians to try their hands at acting and producing. His statement is mentioned below:
‘We can’t make money from cinemas. I need to correct that. We make more money from stand-up comedy than you make from movies. The time you spend in shooting a movie, three weeks at the least, you’ll make that same money they’ll pay you from that movie at a show. So what are we talking about?’
The comedian is recently involved in lunching the premiers of his programs. He also worked in field of movie production. He produced the movie titled as 30 Days in Atlanta. Such movie succeeded to score a high business in Nigeria. However, he said that money was not motivation behind his production project.
