Ghanaian gospel artist, Mary Agyemang
The legendary gospel musician, Mary Agyemang unveiled that who will be there to deliver the message to the people present at night clubs.
The great topic is under debate in Ghana that the gospel musicians should perform at nightclubs or not. Many gospel musicians think there is nothing incorrect performing at nightclubs and others strongly believe that nightclub is not the only site to preach the gospel.
Mary Agyemang reflected her point of view about such issue. She said gospel musician should be ready to perform at all events when they are requested just because to spread the words of God. So, it doesn’t matter either its club or any other place.
‘We are to go anywhere and address the gospel so I’ll go. If I don’t go to the nightclub, who will be there to convey the message to them. I always say that we should not be charlatan. Will you be labelled as an offender if you perform at nightclub?’
She added that the Bible teach them to go everywhere on this globe to preach the gospel but didn’t say only the church. She also labeled those people who refused to spread gospel at club level as hypocrites.
In September, her associate Ohemaa Mercy refused to perform at a nightclub. Even she said she is not interested in amount of money for particular performance.
