The legendary hip-life musician, Evangelist Lord Kenya claimed that in recent time he rejected that huge amount of money from some event managers who demanded to return to secular music.
The hip-life Heavy Weight disclosed that unidentified directors had planned to make him the guest artist of three shows to be presented at the Accra, Kumasi and at the Tamale sports stadiums within a specified period. He said they came with bag of cash but he refused such offer due to religious beliefs.
‘They came with a bag of cash and required me to return to nonspiritual music and feature in three shows in Tamale, Kumasi and Accra. Even though the amount was tempting considering the volume, I excluded the money and told them forward ever, backwards never.’
The expert musician also shared his experience and said he found the real delight in Christ which cannot be compare to anything in this world. He sustained that no amount of money can pay the amity he has now. He felt happy and fresh in Christ because God has been merciful.
Further justifying his current job he said the Bible said the one who has taken the word of God has putative the eventual.
