The famous rapper of Ghana, Gasmilla disclosed that his associate legendary rapper, Sarkodie is not the king of Azonto genre.
Many legendary artists like Gasmilla, Fuse ODG, and Bisa K Dei were also associated with particular genre but superstar Sarkodie has been widely regarded as its inventor.
In an interview Gasmilla exposed that he was not disheartened that the famous rapper stole his thunder. He also claimed that Ghanaian showbiz didn’t favor new artists.
‘I was never perturbed because I knew the kind of industry I was in. Artists who are fresh and brand new in the industry don’t get the consideration like the A-list artistes, but I felt it was something that we needed to push’
The musician added that the international news canal was a bit confused who was the King of Azonto in Ghana but they did their investigation for two weeks and realized he was the king of Azonto and he was the first person to upload a crazy stuff of Azonto online.
Azonto is considered as one of the famous genre in African music world. Particular genre belongs to Ghana’s coastal Ga community. Such music genre came into the lame light almost six year ago when it involved featuring on international media organizations.
