Brenda Osei Bonsu
Obaapanyin Yaa Amponsah is Ghanaian actress Brenda Osei Bonsu’s grandmother, who is confirmed dead at the age of 104.
According to the sources, she died at the age of 104.
Obaapanyin Yaa Amponsah is the mother of the actress’ dad, Mr Osei Bonsu and is also the president of Tonisco Group of Companies.
The sources said that, her final funeral ceremony is fixed for November 12 and 13 at Achiase, near to the airport in Kumasi, where she will be burried.
Brenda said that, “My grandmother was very brave woman and in our remaining life, we always miss her. May her soul rest in peace.”
According to the sources, Brenda is very talented TV personality and as well as very charming actress. Recently she hosts a talk show titled, Hello Africa on Kantanka TV.
There are many movies in her credit like ‘Beautiful Liar’, ‘Material Girls’, ‘Dons of Sakawa’, ‘Chelsea’, among others. She is also popular for her outstanding performances in all these movies.
Though, In the late 90s, she made her entrance in hit movie titled ‘Faithful Liar’ along with the Omar Sheriff Captan and late Kwame Owusu Ansah, and she has been on and off but she has since been a pleasure to watch.
