The boss of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kufour popularly known as Obour has unveiled the truth behind honoring the legendary, Ibrahim Mahama at outstanding ceremony of Grand Ball this year’s edition.
He also unveiled that what influenced his particular decision. He said he will be awarded for his support to the event since its inauguration.
In an interview he said Ibrahim Mahama has been supportive to the Grand Ball since they started. Last year when they were auctioning Nana Ampadu’s guitar and he bought it for GHC 50,000.
He sustained that the same award is given to three people every year but this year they chosen four. He also elaborated the categories. Such categories are private sector, public sector and stakeholders.
The names of other artists who will be awarded at same function are Edward Boateng, boss of Global Media Alliance, Betty Mould-Iddrissu previous Attorney General and Minister of Justice, and Kasapreko Company Ltd.
As everyone know that Ibrahim Mahama is brother of President John Mahama. His name is listed among those artists who will be remunerated at the fourth impression of Grand Ball. Although critics questioned that do he really deserve this award?
