One of the most controversial stars of Ghana Enetrtainment Industry, Kwaw Kese has been out of the prison after spending a day at the Kumasi Central prisons over a narcotic charge.
On Thursday, the famous hiplife singer was prisoned for being found guilty of smoking marijuana in public in November last year in Kumasi.
Other than one day prisoned at the jail, he was also fine for Gh¢ 1,200 by the judge, Mr. William Boampong, which he has paid before going to complete his on day punishment.
The controversial star spent a month on remand for smoking in public at the Kumasi Central Prison and was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, after he got ill due to poor conditions at the Kumasi Central Prisons.
He was bailed on December 30, 2014 after his lawyer contacts the higher authorities.
After returning home, he tweeted early on Friday, said,
“Madded morning to y’all !!! Wofreme #Yakubu… I want all my fans and loved ones to know that am doing great and back home. Thanks y’all for the luv and support. #iappreciatedaluv #Yakubu”
The final verdict in his case, however came on Thursday, April 23, when Judge William Boampong sentenced “Abodam” to a day’s imprisonment and a fine of 1,200.
