Finally, the 2nd wife Maame Beatrice Boatemaa, of the late top veteran Ghanaian actor Katawere, has passionately expressed that her late husband died due to kidney failure.
Kidney failure, also known renal insufficiency, is a medical term of damaged kidney function in which the kidneys flops to sufficiently filter metabolic wastes from the blood.
According to the information, there are 2 major conditions of this serious disease, they are: serious kidney injury, which is sometime reversible with sufficient treatment, and prolonged kidney disease, which is sometime not reversible. In these both cases, there is generally a causal cause.
Soon after the death of the late experienced actor was announced, his daughter Diana Donkor said in an interview that her late dad fought an unrevealed disease for the last 2 years.

According to the sources, Katawere was died on Monday, 13 November, 2016 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. His body has since been placed at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital mortuary.
Moreover, the late veteran actor died at the age of 78, and was famous for the popular ‘Efiewura’ television series and has also performed in some local movies.
