The famous comedian of Ghana, Alex Kofi Adu popularly known by his stage name, Agya Koo has warned all critics not to grind him in such politics related to tribe.
He appeared in an interview and clarified that the upcoming general elections is all about serious issues related to the state. He added it’s not about who belongs to which tribe and who has disrespected which tribe.
Earlier the legendary actor appeared on political stage in Eastern region. Basically he was invited by some inhabitants of Odumase Krobo. They demanded that the leading opposition party should clarify its position on tribal comments. Agya Koo appeared to clarify the views of NPP.
After this particular conversation such news circulated on media that actor uttered that Krobos are a people cursed by a dreaded Akuapem fetish pastor to forever remain prostitutes.
The present manager of actor, Atta Boakye quickly reacted to such news and by conducting press conference he clarified that there is no speck of truth in the protestors’ claim.
He also mentioned that such statement will not benefit him in any case. He said tribal politics will not put food on their table.
