A South African journalist and broadcaster Lerato Mbele who is currently working for the BBC says that Shatta Wale’s Kakai song is the official soundtrack for Accra.

The journalist who is in love with the Shatta Wale’s street anthem tweeted that it seems that the Kakai song appers to be the soundtrack for the city and wherever you are from Cars to Restaurants & Mokola market it rings everywhere.In a tweet the Journalist who obvious is in love with the street anthem tweeted “After a week in Accra, it seems the soundtrack for the city is Kakai by Shatta Wale. From Cars to Restaurants & Mokola market it rings”.
Mbele joined BBC News in 2012 in order to help launch and present Newsday on the BBC World Service with Lawrence Pollard. Both of them are present from 6–8.30am (UK time) each weekday. Mbele is the presenter of a weekly program “Africa Business Report “which features entrepreneurs and leading business personalities in Africa.
Mbele was nominated a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in Switzerland in the year 2014. Moreover the interviews by her also appear on BBC World News and World Business Report.
