As the edition of 2016 Viasat 1’s top show, this Morning‘s takeoff Award’s occasion, #JigweAwards16 has been held at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel on Thursday morning in Accra.
According to the sources, this year’s edition which is continued in the 3rd year saw many Ghanaian celebrities from acting, fashion and beauty industry to specially attend the occasion and was also presented by Kokui Selormey and DKB.
So many popular celebrities such as Zynell Zuh, MzVee, Gloria Sarfo, Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Akosua Agyepong, Rev. Counsellor George Lutterodt, Martha Ankomah, Afia Schwarzenegger also attended the event.
It is fact that DKB, Berla Mundi, Okyeame Kwame, Ameyaw Debrah, A-Plus, Selly Galley and others beat their colleague nominees to take the awards for their own categories.
As usual, most popular part of the show was the red carpet show where most of the guests had to exhibit their lovely clothes stimulated by African prints and some other traditional fabrics.
No doubt, some of them agreed to the concept of pretty look and slayed their appearances perfectly yet others like Afia Schwarzenneger and Christabel Ekeh didn’t look to have gotten the note right and did what they desire.
As we are in a happy mode because it’s 2nd day of Christmas we will let them and the worst-dressed at the occasion go scot-free.
