Okyeame Kwame has also stepped in like other artist on the issue of Dumsor, added that solar is only the solution to power the nation and put back things like before.
Okyeame, the Rap artist said, Ghana is struggling due to the power crisis, because no steps have been taken by the government, when it all started two years ago. We have to take full advantage of the sun to power the nation.
According to the government officials, we have been always told that, Ghana is depending on gas for power, but my question to these officials is, when we are going to utilize the natural resources.
So, it’s my humble request to them and the Ghanaian scientists to find ways, how can we get benefitted from the solar energy to stop Dumsor in Ghana.
On Friday, May 8, during #OKStripped Concert, he made this comment when the Ghanaian celebrities are about to hold a #DumsorVigil.
