Stonebwoy, the Artist of the year at the 2015 VGMA announced that he will not attend the #Dumsormuststop vigil which is going to be held on May 16th by colleague celebrities such as Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie, DKB and others.
In an interview with the Accra-based Kasapa FM, Stonebwoy said, I won’t able to join them, because on the same day, I am attending an event.
I am very sorry to my colleagues; unfortunately, I won’t be there because that is the same day I am holding my event.”
According to the organizers, the vigil is going to attract a large audience, because we are doing it for the common people, and very hopeful that it will be a big success, and afterwards the government will take some steps to stop power crisis, which has affected our daily lives.
The organizers have already received green signal from the higher authorities to continue with their campaign.
Despite not coming to the event, the rapper advice to the organizers to find out better way which will be useful to solve this power crisis, rather than campaigning like this on the roads.
Most of the NDC officials have already given statement that the campaign run by Ghanaian actress; Yvonne Nelson is favoring the opposition party, which will help them during their 2016 general election campaign.
