5 years after the finale of Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena Gomez seems to be heading back to the television industry? Selena is a producer for a very much new Netflix show, and stated that this move will play a role of a launching pad and open up a whole new adventure for her.
Selena is a famous actress and a singer, so the loyal fans of the star are always curious of what Selena Gomez, 24, is going to come up with. Well one thing is for sure, she surely can proudly add executive producer to her resume, as she operated behind the scenes on the much waited upcoming Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why, so the possibilities are a lot, when it comes around where Selena’s career may take her.
I want to be a member of projects that carry potential, that really matters, she told the media. And it’s extremely difficult to do that. Sometimes I feel letting myself down. I audition for a role that I feel I’m extremely passionate about, interact with various people and tell them I’m willing to go any place whatsoever for the role. But I think people think that I won’t go there. To be honestly speaking, I seriously don’t think that it’s going to gel up nicely for me anytime soon. I think by my looks, I look very young image-wise, so it’s difficult for people to grasp. But my mom has always said to me that sometimes you just have to create those projects for yourself. That is all I want from this project: A good launching pad to kick start my journey.
