Quata
The popular hip-life musician, Quata Budukusu disclosed that the master of rap music, Sarkodie is following the same path that was originated by him.
According to him, the path is Tongue-Twisting rap. He claimed that he is the only musician who introduced such music genre in Ghana.
He appeared in an interview specially organized by the journalist, Nii Kpakpo Thompson. He revealed that how his origination is providing comfort to other musicians.
Few of his words are mention as below:
‘Sarkodie and I are dwelling on the same path, and that is tongue-twisting. I originated it. That is how beautiful life is. Kwame Nkrumah didn’t get independence to enjoy for himself. When you invent something you want it out there for people to benefit.’
Further he disclosed that when he decided to return to rap music after a short break. Many Ghanaian musicians refused appearance with him in musical scene. He said due this behavior he decided to collaborate with foreign musicians.
The musician confessed that he has no hatred for fellow musician, Sarkodie but we know that he always enjoy teasing legendary musician.
In the end of interview he said that he is trying to introduce popular South African music group Uhuru to Ghanaian musical scene.
