The stage for most celebrated award show, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2017 is complete and it’s ready to rock the grand party.
According to the decided scheduled, this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will appear on screen on 8th of April, 2017 at the Accra International Conference Center.
The 18th edition of the awards scheme will be hosted by Starr FM Presenter Anita Erskine. She will be supported by Joy FM’s DJ Black. The red carpet session of the awards will be hosted by Live FM and GH One TV Presenter Berla Mundi and actor Elikem Kumordzi.
Celebrities like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, E.L, Joe Mettle, MzVee and Medikal are struggling for the biggest award, Artist of the year.
The Ghana Music Awards were established in 2000 by Charter House Production to celebrate Ghanaian musicians. The awards are presented annually, and are broadcast live on GH One TV. The awards ceremony features performance by artists.
Artist of the Year is the topmost award at the Ghana Music Awards, given to the artist adjudged by the Academy, Board and the general public as having the highest audience appeal and popularity. All musicians really struggle hard to achieve such trophy.
