Fancy Gadam
The rising face of Ghanaian music industry, Medikal appealed his fans to stop disrespecting the fellow musician, Fancy Gadam.
Actually what happened was, the young musician, Fancy Gadam won the title of ‘Best New Artiste of the Year’ at the grand ceremony of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2017. The fans of Medikal are not happy with such announcement. They believe that their mentor truly deserve such title. Even some fans challenged the victory of Fancy Gadam through their comments on social media.
While seeing the heat generated on social media the musician quickly appeared and wrote that:
‘My fans should stop disrespecting fancy Gadam. He was awarded because he deserved it. Please support him like you support me. Disturb.’
After beating the musicians like Medikal, Nii Funny, Article Wan, Feli Nuna, Ebony, Rudebwoy Ranking and Eugy, the streets of Tamale were chocked with fans who lined up to welcome Fancy Gadam home.
Fancy Gadam is influenced by Kaya, Banky W, Wizkid and Davido. All though he did recorded some rap songs and Hip-life but the Dance-hall is more interesting genre to him.
Fancy Gadam also brought out massive hits songs which became National Anthem on the streets of Tamale and the whole of the North which titled as, Star Boi.
