Derick Kobina Bonney aka DKB – also the king of comedy has landed in hot water by Ghanaians who believe the comedian mocked them saying they don’t have common sense”.
The comedian has replied to these accusations and said this was to those media people who have grudge against the star and want to spoil his public image.
“What happened was, some media people disrespected Gh comedy on air and online over its achievements and I responded to them. But my response was misconstrued to mean I was talking to the whole country. It was them(media people) I was referring to; that if they still don’t find us funny and will willingly destroy Gh comedy after all we have achieved which they’ve seen and heard then they don’t have common sense,” he said.
He reiterated that he is also not in the position to criticize people nor he has wants to do that. These claims are totally false and there is not truth in them.
Furthermore – he apologized in case if his comments deterred anyone – however, they were to those who wanted to present false persona of the man.
