Ghanaian celebrities at the 2017 Miss Universe Ghana Launch
The recently held press launch of the 2017 Miss Universe Ghana Pageant witnessed some of the most well-known Ghanaian celebrities like Yvonne Okoro, Benny Blanco, Bola Ray, Sulley Muntari, Menaya Donkor, Deborah Vanessa, Kwaku T and others.
The launch was held at the Carbon Night Club–Airport City and was hosted by the well-known Ghanaian fashion icon as well as veteran broadcaster KOD. Moreover, it has also been announced that KOD will be the host of the main event which is scheduled for the coming September 2nd, 2017.
The director of the 2017 Miss Universe Ghana Pageant, Menaya Donkor who is also the CEO of MALZ Promotions said this pageant act as the tool to make all the women realize that they are the most beautiful. She came with her husband Sulley Muntari and her beautiful son at the press launch.
Menaya Donkor also won the same pageant back in 2004. Therefore, while speaking exclusively at the pageant she really appreciated the pageant which proved itself as a very important platform for what she is now. She also said that Miss Universe Ghana Pageant opened the countless doors for her in 2004 and she is very grateful for that up till now.
Moreover while talking to the media, Menaya Donkor also revealed the main purpose behind this year’s pageant. She said, ‘I feel really amazing to be the new official Director of the 2017 Miss Universe Ghana Pageant. Its so hard to believe that once I was the title holder and now I’m the director. Once I was the one who represented Ghana internationally so I would really love to help the next title holder to make Ghana proud internationally as a Miss Universe’.
