Stonebwoy is Ghanaian musician and award-winning artist. He has expressed to the media that, in his life there is no any Zongo girl. He expressed all this at the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards in the USA, days after winning Best International Act Africa.

When he was asked about the special zongo girl which he recorded the song, zongo girl for, then he was answered that there is no zongo girl in my life but there are a lot of zongo girls out there. He stated that we thank God who created the women in our lives as our mothers, our sisters, our girlfriends and our wives. He stated that this song is one of the special love song which is dedicated to the girls, he told the media resources after he was asked about it.
.Stonebwoy expressed also about his showbiz career, about the awards which he has won and also told about the motivation he has been getting after award winning.
He also talks about the dumsor and power crises on which Ghana is currently undergoing. In a show he was headlining in Atlanta, when he was using the platform to announce a July 4, 2015.
According to the media resources, it is not clear that after winning the BET Award that, when Stonebwoy is going back to his home.
Although, the BET Award glimmered an old controversy about Africans who is receiving BET Awards backstage. A situation many have described as humiliating to the African talents and the African continent.
After winning the BET Award, Stonebwoy has become the first Ghanaian and African dancehall artist.
He also beat top acts like Ghana’s Sarkodie, Kenya’s Sauti, Aka and the soil of South Africa, Dr Congo’s Fally, Ipupa and Wizkid and Yemi Alade from Nigeria.
