The international football player, Lionel Messi is set to marry his long-term girlfriend, Antonella Roccuzzo on 30th of June 2017.
Messi will turn 30 on June 24, and coincidentally, he is set to hold his wedding just a week later. Messi has been dating childhood partner, Antonella Roccuzzo for a very long time, with the pair are set to tie the knot soon.
Around 600 guests have been invited to the ‘Wedding of the Year’ at Rosario Cathedral. The guests will then be invited to party in the suburb of Arroyo Seco, where the couple stays whenever they return to Argentina.
Most of Messi’s Barcelona team-mates are expected to attend the wedding in Rosario during their summer break. But a second ceremony will be held in Spain for those friends who are unable to make the 6,500-mile trip.
The Barcelona star has, however, rather turned his back on some people, declining to incite them to his wedding. Former Barca manager Luis Enrique, as well as all the board members of the club was also not invited.
Messi is popular for maintaining his goalscoring form into the second half of the season, the year 2012 saw him break several longstanding records.
