Samuel Ofori; Ghana Filmmakers lack creativity
Samuel is the Award winning Ghanaian Actor and also functioning as producer. Samuel Ofori has passionately exposed the claim that he is destroying the Ghana film industry with the kind of movies that he comes out with.
Samuel Ofori has become a victim of that act on which the actor has been criticized heavily by industry players and other entertainment pundits for consistently producing movies with topical issues, most at times, words and phrases that become the talk of the nation has been used by some film producers of which Samuel is one of them.
The Ghanaian actor and producer together with his two eye production has been producing movies like Fake London Boy, Oh Vera, Sex Game, Tonga, Ebola and Maricruz are among other titles.
In an interview Samuel Ofori explained that he is very unfortunate that person within the industry will purposely accuse him of destroying the Ghana Film industry.
He wanted to ask a question from that person by saying that How can I destroy an industry, although I earn my income from it. How could I do that? His claim that it is very sad for people to pass such comments because that is my style. He further stated that even when you go to the developed countries, topical, issues, words or phrases that has become the talk of the nation are used by the many of the film producers. He asked that what is wrong for me to do the same way here.
Samuel Ofori has pointed out that some of the industry players have a lack of creativity, but in the modern movies, we have to be creative enough and upgrade the industry, so if nobody is ready to make it, am going to do it and nobody can stop me from doing it because it sells in the market, he stated.
He claimed that he is into modernized the image of the industry, it doesn’t matter the condemnation from his colleagues and other entertainment experts.
