Ghanaian gospel artist, Gifty Osei
Ghanaian well-known Gospel artist, Gifty Osei has recently expressed that she is highly disappointed by the election 2016 which held in the last December. She said she was shocked when she heard the news that former President John Mahama lost the December polls to Nana Akufo-Addo.
The gospel artist was exclusively interviewed by the host Christian Agyei Frimpong, where she said, ‘It was so painful to see John Mahama losing the December polls since he is my dad and very dear to me’.
Gifty Osei also told the story to his fans that how John Mahama impressed her to death. She said, back in 2011, during a Christmas season a media person asked her to make a wish. Without even thinking for a second, she said it was her ultimate desire to meet the then Vice president John Mahama. A day after the story was published online, she got a call from the Vice President inviting her to meet him.
She said, ‘I was stunned and amazed that the Vice President is inviting me, is that even real? I have not got such a respect in my life. The thing which bugged me is that I didn’t anything special for such an incredible personality like the Vice President to invite me. He gave me a huge present. I took a photo of the present and posted it on my all social media accounts. From that very day I chose John Mahama as my dad. He likewise took me as his daughter and it’s simply father and daughter connection among us and that’s it. So, I got hurt when he lost the election’.
