The grand ceremony held in Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California. Rivaling some A-list Hollywood stars who attended the event to celebrate Black excellence and culture, Nana Akua Addo took the red carpet in a sparkling silver fringe gown with an accompanying ear set.
The reliable media site reported that the haute couture gown was purchased from the Filipino designer who happens to be her couturier for a luxurious amount of $8,510 and $320 for shipping. If we are calculating right with all the correct economic indicators in place then the piece cost her close to GHC 37,086 which is probably one of the most expensive dresses a Ghanaian celebrity has worn.
Nana Akua Addo has however been tight-lipped on the price of the outfit rather dishing out videos and photos of the look. The actress is well-known for her lavish lifestyle and how she flaunts her wealth all over the social media space. Earlier in 2017, she shared a photo of an $872,000 mansion her partner gifted her for Valentine’s Day sparking a lot of conversation in public.
