Barima Sidney is a hiplife musician. Barima Sydney stated that when people identifier him as a member of a particular political party, he feel sad.
He further stated that in my opinion, I have realized the fact that it is a strategy they used about me and tag me as a political party member, just to frustrate me on the course that I am supporting. This is a strategy and it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t bother me anymore.
He stressed that he will continue to reach his aims because he’s attention.
Although it goes against the government, they will tag you as being ill with the other party but my focus is to work for mother Ghana. Ask yourself is the passage your supporting value fighting for? I belief that if you do then some of these things will come on your way. In an interview, Sidney makes known that the inspirations behind his political songs are the fact. Barima Sidney explains that mostly the inspiration behind my songs is the reality. But they are upset to hear the truth. I observe the things which are going on in the society and then set them in my songs.
When Barima Sidney was asked whether he will accept deal in composing songs for any political party? Then he said that why not?
Sidney stated that as a musician, I will.
When Asked whether he will accept contract in composing songs for any political party, Barima Sidney said, “why not? As a musician, I will take their lyrics and package a song for them.
He stated that it doesn’t matter, being political parties or an advertising songs for the advertising companies.
If a political party wants me to do a song for them, I don’t want my image to be connected to that party.
He declared that there are so many people I can package for them to sing. But if as Barima Sidney, I have to sing, it depends and I don’t recall the last time I did such a thing?
He wanted planning to venture into active politics someday. He explain that we are all politicians because day-in and out the choices that we take at our different homes and workplace are all politics but to undertaking into one-sided politics, then the answer is No.
