Ghanaian dancehall king, Shatta Wale while receiving the key to City of Worcester
Ghanaian numerous awards winning dancehall artist, Shatta Wale who is also known as African self-acclaimed dancehall king, has proved his title one again by receiving the keys to the City of Worcester, Massachusetts after his show. No doubt, it’s a huge achievement for the ‘Kakai’ hitmaker and Ghana.
The dancehall artist went to the United States exclusively for his show, at the end of last week after a quite unsuccessful show on July 1, 2017.
Shatta Wale took to his official Facebook handle to reveal the big news and posted three of the pictures while receiving the key by the Mayor. Yes, you heard me right the Mayor of Worcester, Joseph Petty presented the key to the dancehall artist, in acknowledgment of his dedication to music and for coming to the city of Worcester and entertaining it.
Shatta Wale captioned the picture as, ‘The mayor of Worcester presented me the key to the city. Special Thanks to Anokyekrom crew and big shoes’. The key also symbolizes that Shatta now have the rights and benefits of a freeman of the city.
