Ghanaian well-known rapper, Fancy Gadam has recently appreciated the Ghanaian rap god, Sarkodie by saying that he is his mentor and he is the one who helped him to push his music to a whole new level in the nation. The rapper who is the ‘VGMA new artist of the year’ has given all the credits to Sarkodie like many other fast rising Ghanaian young artists.
While speaking exclusively to the host KMJ on the Accra based FM, Fancy Gadam uncovered that it was really hard to make his song titled ‘Pain killer’ a smash hit one, however Sark’s continous support and advices made it happen. He also included that, it’s all about fate and blessings from God since it’s not easy to become famous in Ghana.
Fancy expressed that, ‘I have seen changes since I have met Sark. The single which I made with him has gave my career a whole new form. Honesty talking, it was difficult to work with him. He helped me a lot in each and every step, it’s not about money. He helped me to grow’.
When the host asked him that why he made the collaboration with Sarkodie, he said he had united the entire Northern Region with his music thus he got a sign that it was the right time to do same in the southern region of the nation and Sarkodie was the best artist to work with.
