Uncle Chester
Joseph Bentil Ani is a famous and richly known showbiz star. He is also popular by the name of Uncle Chester. Josaeph Bentil has disagreed with the judgment of US Supreme Court about the same s*x.
He expressed his thoughts on the issue in his statement and said “I am not in agreement with same s*x marriage… and I can’t understand transgender either. I am wondering if it is actually very necessary,” he said in an interview Wednesday morning.
“It’s just my viewpoint.
Remember that the US Supreme Court has given the decision
on 26th June in which it gave the legal right of same s*x marriage.
The petitioners asked “for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right,”
Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in his remarks.
This judgment has finished a long and continues argumentative battle which had been fought for last ten years.
President Obama gave his comments on this judgment and said that this is a very fascinating feeling to know that love can be celebrated.
“Our nation was founded on a bedrock principle: that we are all created equal,” he said in a speech soon after the ruling.
“This ruling is a victory for America,” he said. “This decision affirms what millions of Americans already believe in their hearts. When all Americans are treated as equal, we are all freer.”
However Chester says that in his views marriage is the most holy and basic institution of human population and it must remain between the men and women.
“The institution of marriage is sacred… I don’t get it,” he said with anxiety. “Maybe I don’t understand the reasons for it.”
Meanwhile he also described his thoughts on the issue by saying t6hat there is a dire need to solve the issue in Ghana by the talk and conversation on this important problem.
“I think there should be some debate about it… some people are born like that.”
