Ghanaian UK based musical duo, Reggie and Bollie has recently expressed that Ghanaian Music Industry is killing talents in Ghana. They also said that they are living examples of the bitter reality that you have to get out of Ghana to take your music career to the next level. In Ghana you can only dream about expanding your music career but it never happens.
The musical duo have won numerous awards up till now and going great, when it comes to the music. They also highlighted the fact that Ghanaian artists deserve much more money and fame than they are getting in Ghana as their work in absolutely amazing.
Reggie said, ‘Music industry in Ghana is killing talents. Have a look at the artists who have chosen to move out of Ghana for their music. The career must get to the level where they don’t need to run after money to make music. I think it’s time for our industry to do some progress and raises its level where when a single is top 40 or number one, there is loads of income coming in and most of all, artists won’t have issues with their managers’.
