In an exclusive interview with BBC, Lydia Forson raised voice against harassment in industry.
The actress also stated how one actress narrated her ordeal to her adding that it seems to be everywhere in any other field and occupation.
This follows the scandal of film-maker Harvey Weinstein who according to reports has harassed a lot more women than can be counted with Angelina Jolie coming out freshly.
Read her words as below:
‘In Africa where there’s a lot of poverty and people are looking for jobs, they know how to feed on people’s desperation. An actress walked up to me and said she’s been trying to break up into the industry for several years but every producer wants to sleep with her and they named some big actresses that they slept with before giving them roles and threaten them if they refuse to cooperate.’
