The diva of music industry, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda better known as MzVee warned gospel musicians to not look down upon secular acts otherwise they will be declared as hypocrites.
In latest interview artiste opined that they are frauds because the church wasn’t made for pure people. Read her words as below:
‘If a gospel person looks down on anybody else because they are not the way they are, those are hypocrites. If you want people to quote the Bible for you and say they are Christians, that doesn’t make sense because the church wasn’t made for pure people, God said let the sinners come to the church. If you are somebody who is fronting Christ (or) fronting Christianity and you are looking down on people because you feel they are dirty.’
MzVee, however, stated she had not met any gospel musician who looked down upon her because of the type of melodies she does. She also revealed that, she cannot listen to gospel songs that are full of words of sadness. Rather, she enjoys gospel songs which give reverence and gratitude to God.
Well, it’s not known that how gospel industry will react to her statement. Media is waiting for their response.
