The Ghana Broadcasting Carp oration GBC, has suspended the collection of the TV License fee which is beginning from today.
This resolution was attained at to overlay the way for the purpose of a short-term interlocutory injection case on the collection and payments of the fee.
The Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa Suleiman Braimah, expressed that it is good for GBC to suspend the collection of the revised TV licence fee. Because in this way, they do more public learning about it.
He supposed that this will cover the way for plenty discussion and education on this matter.
Communication to the Radio Ghana, Mr. Braimah however, give emphasis to the need for every citizen to pay the Television license fee to make sure effective public service broadcasting.
Mr. Braimah also acknowledged some anxieties which need to be addressed before the recommencement of the gathering
