Ghanaian self-acclaimed dance hall king, Shatta Wale
The reliable sources claimed that the self-styled dance hall king, Shatta Wale will join the popular media house on January 31, 2018.
Shatta Wale will be unveiled as a Zylofon Music act tomorrow at very special ceremony. The event expected to happen at the headquarters of the company located in East Legon for the press will see the signing and unveiling of the multiple hit makers as a Zylofon Music artiste.
Shatta Wale will join artistes like Stonebwoy, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Obibini and Becca on the record label.
This follows a report that said Shatta Wale had been signed unto Zylofon Music record label for a fee of $1.5million. In addition, he will be given an apartment and a Rolls Royce Phantom worth about $450,000.
Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., (born October 17, 1984) is a Ghanaian -born producer and dance hall musician. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale (formerly Bandana), His best known song is ‘Dance hall King’, which led to winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghanaian Music Award. He traveled to Jamaica to learn dancehall. Wale acted in the movies Never Say Never and in Shattered Lives.
