Bernardino Koku Avle, has been invited to the Murrow program in the USA; he host ‘The Citi Breakfast Show, the CIMG radio Program of the year 2013.
The citation that accompanied the award praised the Citi Breakfast Show for being the platform that gives a voice to voiceless and show’s commitment to quality content.
By keep his efficient working in mind United States of America has been invited him for their Murrow Program.
In The Murrow Program the best journalists of the world invited and they share their journalistic practices, they examine foreign affairs reporting, and build networks with media professionals in the United States.
In this year they invited more than 75 international broadcast, digital and print media journalists and Bernard Avle is one of 14 journalists of Africa who are going to attend this program.
The Murrow Program is organized by public-private partnership in which the department of state and other top schools of journalism combined to manage.
This program will comprises on three weeks in which journalists observe the standards, institutions of media in the United States, as well as they understand the rights and obligations of a free press in a democracy and observe operational practices in different media institutions.
The participants shall also gain insight about the social, economic and political structures of the USA along with attending the different seminars and symposium about the emerging trends and challenges for media profession.
Bernard Avle is not only attending the Murrow program but he also took part in Global Africa Investment Summit which held in London from 20 to 23rd of October. And in Murrow program he is just expected to enhance his knowledge regarding new technologies, alternative media along with new trends in the media.
