Most pretty actress Yvonne Nelson commended for President Mahama’s efforts at reducing the hard power crisis.
According to her statement, she thinks the situation is improving gradually in Ghana especially in Accra and other places of the country.
Yvonne Nelson recently said that in an interview with Dr. Prekese ‘Gyaso Gyaso’ who is a drive time host on ‘Bryt’ 99.1 FM in ‘Koforidua’, she we should accept that dumsor is now getting better, and she commends the Government and officials working hard to fix dumsor, for the good work they are doing”.
The actress was talking about ‘The Dumsor Must Stop Vigil’ campaign that attracted the many stars in Ghana to strike against the bad power supply months ago.
The producer of ‘House of Gold’ said that the power crisis is collapsing the companies and making many people becoming unemployed just not to talk about the excessive heat, hence her decision to create the dumsor must stop vigil.
Yvonne is scheduled her movie’s premiere recently, titled ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ in ‘Koforidua’ said that the demonstration was not done as a propaganda for any political party’s attraction but for the attraction of all Ghanaians.
According to her, the demonstration was to tell the sentiments and frustrations of Ghanaians, especially for those whose businesses were collapsing hence to pinch government to step up and solve this problem.
She added, she was surprised by the insults rain on her and other organizers by some government officials and NDC commentators.
Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie, Ama K and Lydia Forson while the campaign to hold the dumsor must stop vigil, besides, poured out their anger and pain on social media, questioning the government’s ability and skill to solve the issue.
Moreover, their efforts and actions did not go down well with, the communications team member of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Alhaji Halidu Haruna, responded to the celebrities’ all criticisms, hence explained them as prostitutes, but after that popped up to apologize.
