As Ebola is getting worse to infect more and more people it is necessary for us to step up and raise awareness among people how to prevent the deadly virus.
In the prospect of Ebola hazards The Miss Ghana Foundation has come forward and teamed up with IPMC, Ghana’s leading IT firm, on a mission to develop awareness on prevention of Ebola. Subjecting the efforts ‘Get Smart to prevent Ebola’, Nadia Ntanu, Brand Ambassador for Miss Ghana Foundation last year, led the awareness campaign across different regions in Accra.
As many as 1500 volunteers joined the team to educate people about the symptoms and preventions of Ebola, as well as distributed flyer and poster as part of awareness campaign.

Ntanu pointed that even our country is safe of wild Ebola but it doesn’t mean to stay calm, we must step up and impart efforts to rule out any chance to get infected.
The efforts also stretched out of the capital in 20 locations across Ghana including, Takoradi, Tamale, Konongo and Sunyani.
“It is now all about relevant, accurate and lifesaving facts that can be circulated as speedily as possible to vulnerable areas that may get affected from Ebola,” said Ntanu, who is leading the campaign.
Ntanu also expressed the intention the effort from Miss Ghana Foundation and partners will continue until everyone is fully aware of Ebola prevention message. She called on corporates and leading personalities to support the campaign.
