Yvonne Nelson is a famous Ghanaian actress, model, film producer and entrepreneur. She has expressed that President John Mahama’s authorization of fellow actor John Dumelo is as intolerant.
She stated that although it is nice that the President admits the movie industry’s involvement in the development of the country. She stated that she doesn’t raise the value of that, the President selected John as his favorite actor.
Talking with media Yvonne inform that “John Dumelo support him openly.so I mean it is cool.
She further stated that if you are in the entertainment industry and you are putting Ghana on the map then the President should love you. This is because you are doing something for your country Ghana. I think the President has got his favorites like everyone has their favorite.
She added that we are all putting Ghana on the map so in my opinion the President should love all of us because we are all trying for Ghana.
For me it is very important to putting Ghana on the map and that’s a cool thing. The President has to love Sarkodie because he is putting Ghana there. President should mention more names to encourage us, the actress explain.
Yvonne and John’s relationship twisted bitterly. When she called him a “kiss” because he asked that the president be given more time to deal with the continuing power disaster. When the former and her friends planned to get on a ‘dumsor’ watch in May.

Yvonne invites the President Mahama to recognize the struggles others are made to sell the country and not recommend only John Dumelo.
She further stated that we all are putting Ghana on the map so, we all need that kind of encouragement from our leaders. President should mention other names like, Majid Michel, Sarkodie, Myself, and John Dumelo etc.
