Prince David Osei is a famous Ghanaian artist and film producer. He has recently launched a movie. He has stated that it is not true the plot of his upcoming one-cast, Last Night, was stimulated by the true story of a popular Ghanaian radio announcer who deals in drugs.He was talking at the upcoming movie’s press conference at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra. At this premiere showing of the movie, actress Yvonne Nelson was present on this occasion.
This movie is a psychological action about the character is ‘Bright Mensah’, a radio presenter and drug trader. He is a dishonest boy who uses his radio program, ‘Truth and Consequence’, as a front for his drug trade. There were many thoughts that the movie could be about a specific radio announcer in Ghana. But Prince David Osei has denied the suppositions.
According to Prince David Osei, he wanted to use the movie to teach students about the dangerous effects of using hard drugs.
He further explains on Friday that I will take up the topic of drug usage and use my movie as a weapon to go to school to alert the students about the harmful effects of the drug habit. So it is not just about the premiere.
Prince David links the league of Ghanaian screen actors-turned-producers.
He is the first producer who use this unique concept, a one-cast movie for the first time in Africa. He also declares that his next movie might be Ghana’s silent movie.
The director of the movie is Andy Boyo, he was shot with crew from South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana.
‘’Last Night’’ will be released from the teams of David’s PDO Production next Friday. Its premiere at the Silver bird Cinemas would kick-start a chains of related actions on the African continent and outside.
