Mzbel is the stage name of Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah. She is a Ghanaian hiplife artiste and one of the most popular singers in Accra. She caused controversy in Ghana for taking up opposing theist beliefs.
Some years ago, she was attacked and robbed at her home in Gbawe.She expressed that she had not been able to sleep well after that incident.

She stated about all this in an exclusive interview with an extensive media show.
She narrated that I have been very frightened and you know that I am scared of guns. Since that incident any time I can’t sleep well. Although I have security guys and cameras everywhere. It has not been easy for me to manage all this situation properly.
Mzbel describes that it is not a good thing, if you sleep, you should sleep calmly. You don’t think so, even when I am driving in the night, I watch around to see if someone is following me or not.
Nana Ekua Amoah aka Mzbel and her girls at their New Gbawe house, were robbed of several calculations of money and items containing DVD players, cassette player , a digital video camera, an Epson Laptop, Jewelry, clothes and five mobile phones On September 2006. She has a very deep impact of that incident on her life.
