David Dontoh is an actor known for the Dead 2010, Deadly voyage 1996 and Heritage of Africa.
David Dontoh declares that acting doesn’t pay in Ghana, the expert actor supposed that if it’s cash you are looking for then don’t risk into performing in Ghana.

“Performing in Ghana only deals admiration and honour, but its not that moneymaking.
Movie industries like Nollywood, Hollywood, and Bollywood to declare a few pay fine but in Ghana it doesn’t not pay states the Performer. Only a few industry players who have connections in Nollywood are able to put up a limited houses and buy a few cars and the rest are still hand to mouth on a daily.

According to the David Dontoh, cinemas have in bad condition, and there is only one theater for the creative arts employees to showcase what they have which is the National Theater. He also expressed that movie maker’s fight to opening their movie all over the country, our culture is misplaced and the government didn’t care at all.

Mr. Dontoh asked that what the Creative Arts Department is doing to help the actors.
Talking on the media angry David Dontoh stated that the acting industry is ignored by the general public and the government as a whole. There are no organizations helping the art industry to develop.
The actor expressed that “I am a writer, but people see me as an actor most often.

Mr. Dontoh has been acting for over 35 years now show off of plenty of movie scripts, advertisements, text books and ideas, but worried that it is not that profitable now but the integrity and respect is a great emotion.
