Tonight all roads in Accra and its surroundings lead to the World Trade Centre, the spot for the country’s biggest hip hop and rap show named, ‘The B.A.R. Concert’.
The show, put together by leading best brand and occasion establishing company BBnZ, has award-winning musician and music maker E.L as the significant act and has established performances from a number of Ghana’s greatest performers with Reggie Rockstone, Pappy Kojo, Joey B, C-Real, Kumasi Ko-Jo Cue, Lil Shaker, Gemini, MzVee, Stargo, Dex Kwesi, , Recognize Ali and several others.
The show will take the kind of constant and endless performances of hip-hop songs back-to-back and E.L has now put out a 17-track mix tape album solely for tonight’s performance.
Tonight’s B.A.R. Concert is the second version and is estimated to break last year’s record presence. Tickets are recounted to be fast running out and the outstanding few are on sale at all Tigo openings across the capital city.
” E.L described that Performances from the big names in music now, the concert would give hip hop artistes in Ghana a platform that they can be familiar. It is to give a chance to as many as possible hip hop artists, both known and underground, to have a stage to polish. It would be back-to-back nonstop performances with just a few gaps in between. But this time it would be the real artistes doing it onstage.
“B.A.R. means Best African Rapper. I consider myself to be the best African rapper, taking into attention a lot of things. But if I say it, it would be like I am carrying my horns. So when people ask me why I am saying that, I just nonstop them to my Mixtapes; they should just listen to my mixtapes. And 99 percent of the time, they admit to the fact that I might just be the best African rapper.
