Vybrant Faya is the stage name of Emmanuel Kojoquayson.He is one of the newest dancehall artiste who is seen as the forthcoming of dancehall music in Ghana. He has stated that the genre is the only one that is certain to put Ghana on the worldwide section.
He expressed that dancehall music is not from Ghana but Ghanaians are really in love with it although it’s a Jamaican music. We Ghanaian performers also love the sensations and that is why we are doing dancehall too, moreover dancehall is a Global Genre.
In an interview with live media transmission, he supposed that he was encouraged by stimulating songs of the reggae fable Bob Marley.
He further stated that songs from Bob Marley and other reggae artists impacted me to do Dancehall music in Ghana. My style of music is rap and sing, which is called ‘ragga’.”
Faya, a member of Shatta Association, Family is agreed to release his newest single titled ‘Budu Budu Budu’.
He also publicized in the media show that the name ‘Vybrant Faya’ was given to him by radio broadcaster, Mr. Logic.
Mr. Logic after listening to my songs, he expressed me in view of the kind of energy and passion which I use in my performances, it will be superior to select the name ‘Vybrant Faya’ which I accepted and that has carried me this far.
