Ghanaian legendary highlife artist, Rex Omar has recently revealed that he is not interested in making smash hit singles as he is over that phase. He said it’s different when you are an upcoming or latest musician however at this phase of his music career he is no more into hit songs.
Rex Omar said when you are new in the music scene you have to make hit songs in order to stay in the limelight. However, he is all grown up and he has nothing to prove to the Ghanaians. He makes songs which are impactful and speaks about my legacy.
While speaking exclusively in an interview, he said, “I have nothing to prove to Ghanaians. I have done it all and Ghanaians themselves can testify and that’s why I still get shows to play. All I am interested in now is to sustain my legacy, that’s all.’ He also said, no doubt, he is up for collaboration and he is planning to release a remix soon.
