Joyce Blessing a gospel musician is the only artiste who has shattered the common belief that gospel musicians are boring on stage.
She received a positive response from entertainment specialists and clients for her performance during the first edition of the GN bank Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
In 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Joyce amazed the audience again with her smashing live band performance and known as indestructible.
In conversation with the media on Thursday, singer Monko Mo Akyi said that she can perform spectacularly better because of her practice with a band coupled with supporting famous artistes prior to the shot to the public eye.
For five years she has worked to prove herself and she supported a lot of artiste in the studio, including Evangelist Diana Asamoah, Jewel Ackah, Mary Ghansah, Ernest Opoku Jnr, AseibuAmanfi.
She said, through this God was preparing her for the mission ahead, and when she come on stage, she does not mean to boast but all is by the loveliness of God, and she sings to amuse people so they can forget their qualms.
Joyce further said that she engage the crowd so much that even if the time of her act is three hours they would not get exhausted.
She claimed that if top female performers in Ghana list is made by anyone and she is not considered on the top then people will think it is bogus.
The energetic performer further mention that her induced Gospel music has gone through admirable revolution, and she is optimist there are many more successes yet to come by gospel musicians.
Joyce Blessing told the difference now that she believes God is taking Gospel to another level through her in upcoming years, and people used to think Gospel is all about shooting videos with objects, and it made them think Gospel is boring, and but now it has changed.
She further added that she is waiting for the time when she will win the Artiste of the Year Ghana Music Award, and she is really struggling to achieve this.
