Julius Malema the Chief of Economic freedom fighters (EFF) marries his high school friend Mantawa Matlala. They were dating since Matlala’s school days at Capricorn High school in Polokwane. They married in a traditional way on Saturday, 27th December at Seshego. The ceremony was totally private.
The security was very tough and cell phones were also banned. But the pictures of their wedding ceremony were uploading during the wedding. Almost 20 security gaurds ib black suit with red ties were guarding the whole ceremony outside the marquee.
The ceremony was held outside Matlala’s house in a white big Marquee and at the end of the street a large glass marquee was also erected. One thousand invitations were sent out and 500 people were attending the ceremony and according to report some guests were arrived in a helicopter. Only family and friends were invited besides some of his party members.
Before the wedding ceremony Malema said in media that without invitation who will arrive at the wedding will turn back because it’s a private wedding and he wants his nation to respect his privacy.
Mantawa is a local girl and Malema bought his bride an expensive dress and a ring with blue Diamonds before the wedding. They were wearing Pedi outfits made in Pedi colors. Matlala’s dress was made of crystal tulle fabric, raw silk and duchess satin in royal blue and it was designed by Matome Seshoka and Malema was wearing a navy blue casual suit.
Malema arrived at the wedding ceremony with his grandmother and son, Ratnang at exact 1 pm. Julius Malema said that he is delighted that he is ending the year on a high note by marrying a women he love. He announced an after wedding party on the same place next day.
